I lost my job, I lost some weight
I lost a ten dollar bill
I lost a friend, I lost my keys
I lost a lot, but not my will
But more than that I still have me
I just realized
Anything I lost is not who I am
Only what you see
Let it go
It’s not worth it’s weight or an ocean full of tears
Let it go
I’m still here knowing I can walk through all my fears
I lost my youth, I lost my innocence
I lost to alcohol
I lost a girl, I lost a woman
I lost to drugs and all my walls
But more than that I still have me
I just realized
Anything I lost is not who I am
Only what you see
Let it go
It’s not worth it’s weight or an ocean full of tears
Let it go
I’m still here knowing I can walk through all my fears
I lost a Gibson, I lost marimbas
I lost my metronome
Lost track of time, Both yours and mine
My heart is my only home
But more than that I still have me
I just realized
Anything I lost is not who I am
Only what you see
Let it go
It’s not worth it’s weight or an ocean full of tears
Let it go
I’m still here knowing I can walk through all my fears
